Father and Son Golf TournamentMark your calendars for July 22-24, 2010 when fathers and sons once again unite in "The Seaside Golf Capital of the World" for the 13th Annual Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore National Father & Son Team Classic. This three-day family event has become the largest father-son golf event in the world. Last year's 54-hole competition drew over 1200 players from 44 states and 8 foreign countries -- 22 flights in all.

The Limestone College women’s lacrosse team is participating in the Lax 4 Life initiative, which benefits the Allyson Rose Green Memorial Foundation. The Saints will be collecting money at their home game against Dowling College on March 28 at 12 p.m. The team will also participate in the event during its road game at Shippensburg University on March 20 in Pennsylvania.

CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Senior guard Ericka Williams (Blackville, S.C.) scored 16 points on 8-of-11 shooting and junior guard Tonia Gerty (Port Orange, Fla.) matched that production and added eight assists as the College of Charleston (17-6, 11-3) defeated Western Carolina (3-18, 2-10) by a score of 74-71. in a Southern Conference women’s basketball game on February 1, 2010.

Women's Basketball: Spartans Comeback To Drown The Dolphins, 62-49

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Monday night at the Hodge Center proved that the USC Upstate women’s basketball team won’t panic. Down 13 points just 12 minutes into the game, Upstate swallowed Jacksonville’s lead by halftime and went on to hold Jacksonville to 23 percent from the floor in the second half en route to a 62-49 Atlantic Sun Conference win. The win is Upstate’s fifth straight, the first time since 1997 that the Spartans have been on such a streak and the first time since 1995 that the team has won five straight against conference foes.
