• Gamecocks Defeat Davidson 8-0

    COLUMBIA, S.C. – Eighth ranked South Carolina broke open a one-run game with six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and five Gamecock pitchers combined for a six-hit shutout in an 8-0 victory over Davidson on Tuesday night in non-conference action at Carolina Stadium.  The Gamecocks improve to 31-10 with Davidson falling to 23-11 on the year.  It is the 12th shutout of the season for South Carolina.
